The Hibernian
Law Journal was launched in 1999 and has since become established as one of
Ireland’s most innovative legal publications. The primary aim of the Journal is
to provide a forum for trainee and recently qualified solicitors in Ireland who
wish to engage in legal scholarship of a high calibre. The Journal’s
multidisciplinary focus facilitates detailed argument and discussion on a wide
range of topics such as e-commerce, arbitration, human rights, intellectual
property and public private partnerships. The Hibernian
Law Journal enjoys a wide circulation, not only in Ireland, but also in several
foreign jurisdictions and on electronic databases such as Lexis-Nexis.
The Journal
enjoys broad support among members of the Irish legal community. It receives
sponsorship from the Law Society of Ireland and several leading Irish law firms.
Moreover many of the foremost academics and practitioners in particular fields
of expertise have acted as editorial and academic advisers. We hope you
find our website useful and if you would like to subscribe to the journal,
